Birthday breakfast over, let the birthday party preparation begin. Kennedy was talking on the phone with Auntie Rach.
Wearing Uncle Blake's boots
The boys quickly left to buy a pump to blow these pools up. wusses
Reading one of my favorite books that I got when I was 1, Quick as a Cricket.
Chasing after Annie
I am not a crafty person and it stresses me out. But, for the first time in my life what I had visioned in my head actually worked out and I was pleased.
Auntie Rach helping get more guitars ready for finger painting.
My fellow cooks. The boys left after breakfast to go shoot, which allowed Kennedy to take a good nap and the women to work without so many people in the house. Aunt Amy dusted and got chairs ready, mom swept, Rach helped with food prep. How would I have done this without all the help?
The sweetest little footprints. Don't mind the dog hair on the chair.
Leave it to the men to get home 45 minutes before the party with Whataburger....when I had made all this food for the party!
My mom snapped this picture of Aunt Amy fanning herself. This cracks me up because Aunt Amy is always hot and can make a fan out of anything.
Let the party begin...
The girls loved finger painting and Tammy and Craig hated me for it.
All the family units.
By the time we got with Aunt Amy and Uncle Tommy, Kennedy was DONE.
No hesitation on the cake.
Daddy was trying to get Kennedy interested in opening more presents, but she was so preoccupied.
After the party, all the family went to Doc's to eat some seafood.
Uncle Blake and Kennedy signing "fish".
Kennedy kept going over to our neighbor, Easton and giving kisses and hugs.
